Responsibilities of Ansar and VDP
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked members of Ansar and
 Village Defense Forces (VDP) to stand by the grassroots and
 work with greater devotion. The Prime Minister said that
 we do not have very broad-based organizations like Ansar and VDP. 
So you have to stand by the grassroots people. Because, 
this force has huge manpower to go ahead with their help.
Speaking at the 33rd National Rally of Ansar and VDP in Shafipur yesterday, 
he called upon the Ansar and VDP members to work with honesty, devotion, sincerity and 
courage to protect the lives and property of the people.
1. Assist the police force in maintaining law and order.

2. To assist the BGB in the border areas to prevent smuggling and
   to assist the army in protecting the independence and sovereignty of the country.

3. To change the destiny in earth social development.

4. Services will be available through Ansar Commander, 
   Union Leader, Team Leader and Ansar-VDP members.
